Install unknown apps

The install unknown apps screen doesn't let me move the toggles. Pls halp

Once I enabled developer mode it worked.

How do I install unknown apps anyway? Where is that page?

Thanks for reaching out. Could you tell us more about your concern so we can further assist you? Do you have a Chromecast with Google? If you could also provide a screenshot or a photo of the screen or the page where you're trying to install an app, I would appreciate it.

I have no idea how to attach a picture. This is pretty straightforward - I get to the normal Install unknown apps screen and it won't let me even move the mouse down to the buttons to change them.

Thanks for getting back to us. Could you confirm if you are installing the apps in the Chromecast with Google TV? Also, what unknown apps are you pertaining to? Please take note that you can only install compatible or supported apps with Chromecast with Google TV.

Sorry, apparently when I reply via email it doesn't get put here. 

 

Yes, Chromecast with Google TV. 

 

This isn't an issue with a particular app. The issue is the Chromecast menu to sideload any app is broken for me.
