Is it possible to change audio output?

I connected Chromecast to my projector and cast it from my pc which is connected to the speaker.

But whenever I cast with 'cast tab' option the sounds comes from projector not my speaker.

Only way to make sound from speaker is using 'cast desktop' which is basically screen mirroring.

I can't connected projector with speaker or pc because it is too far.

Is it possible to change audio output to my speaker not the projector?

You can use a HDMI switch with built-in audio extractor or a HDMI audio extractor, with digital coaxial, digital optical or RCA outputs,

Connect the Chromecast device to the HDMI input of the HDMI switch / audio extractor, then run a HDMI cable from the HDMI switch output to the projector and an audio cable (digital or analog) from HDMI switch audio output to your speakers.

To further improve the sound quality a high quality audio DAC can also be put to good use by connecting it to the coaxial or optical output of the HDMI audio extractor.

I would recommend a HDMI switch with support for HDMI version 2.0b and HDCP 2.2.

What type of speakers do you have?

I will give you link for the speaker since I don't know what type of speaker it is. It is just speaker with aux cord. I connected speaker with my projector with long aux cord before but the volume of speaker is small that I have to connect with my pc or at least my phone for decent volume

Thank you for your answer but I don't think I am able to buy all those stuff for decent sound. I can still connect my projector and speaker with aux cord. Only problem is the sound is small but buying extractor just for bigger sound doesn't seem worth. I hoped for changing audio output just by using app or software. If chrome cast 3rd gen cannot is there any other option for streaming that allow me to change sound output?

Check my edited response.

The setup recommended above will help you route the sound to the Logitech Z623 speaker system.

Good sound doesn't come for free.

The setup I suggested is worth every penny and it's affordable.

The problem with your projector audio output is that it doesn't put out the required voltage to match the input sensitivity of your Logitech speakers input stage.

You have to understand that the moment you press the cast button on your PC, the audio and video signal is processed in the Chromecast receiver and the only way you will route that sound where you want is like I suggested.

Alternatively, you can upgrade your setup to Chromecast with Google TV and connect it with a Bluetooth audio receiver or an audio DAC (digital to analog converter).

Take your time, please, and study the suggested setup and you will understand its benefits, both on short and long term.
