Issue chromecast (1st gen) is not recognized by google home (ios app)

Hello!

Im trying to configure my chromecast which is recognized but it's not connecting to wifi to finish the setup.

Could you please help? Im using an IOS phone connected to a 2.4Ghz wifi.

Hi  AngelsMizar,

That certainly hasn't been easy for you ― let’s check this out.

What kind of Chromecast do you have? What is the exact message on the screen when doing the set up? While doing the setup, could you turn off your cellular data, turn on bluetooth and enable local network access(phone’s settings>privacy>local network for Google Home).

You can also follow the steps in these guides depending on what Chromecast you have: Set up your Chromecast device (3rd gen or older), Set up Chromecast with Google TV and Voice Remote and I can't establish a Wi-Fi connection to my Chromecast.
