At first I used to get the would like to optimized your screen when I was at full screen. Now I have not been getting those prompts and the quality has dropped drastically on my chrome cast.
I have unchecked the always optimize and still it is poor quality.
anyone what i can do to fix this ?

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. It seems that you’re casting from the Chrome browser on a computer. That message to optimize the screen happens there. Kindly check this thread: Chrome not optimize Full Screen video and see if the steps help.
If your Chrome browser received an update and somehow there’s some changes with the interface, it’s best to give our friends at the Google Chrome Help Community a shout. Let us know if you have concerns with your Chromecast device.
