I get new Chromecast with Android TV, my home network has MAC address filter, in the previous generation it was easy to get MAC from Google Home App, but with this new device Google Home App say it is unable to to get MAC address it is printed on device, I check the device but found FCC ID 8CHARACTER, IC 6 CHARACTER & other 14 character.
What I know is MAC address is 12 character!

I couldn't reach to the step where could check the MAC via remote control because the Internet connection is critical step in advance.
I resolved the problem in another way, I stopped MAC filtering for while to stablish internet connection and then check the new appeared MAC in my modem which shall be belongs to the newly joined device "Chromecast with Android TV" then reactivate the MAC filtering 😊

You might be able to get the MAC under the network settings of Android using the remote control. Keep in mind newer Android versions use randomized macs unless you configure it to use the actual hardware MAC. I don't know if that applies to Android TV though.

Glad you were able to solve it. I guess another option would be to configure it using the phone internet, then get the MAC, then set it up on the other network.

Good, you mean using internet of mobile SIM card via hotspot; unfortunately in my country mobile internet is very limited, maximum speed could you get actually is 120 in kilobytes not Mb 😭 we use it only for Whatsapp text when be away from ADSL land line based services which could give you actually maximum speed of 0.55 Mb.
Thank you for advice ☺️

Hey there!
It looks like Alrazi was able to find that MAC address, so I'm locking the thread. As always, feel free to make a new thread if you have any more questions or concerns.
Thank you for your help, InstantBits!
