I have had my first chromecast tv for a year or so without issues. I bought a second one for another room and now have endless issues with unstable wifi and wifi dropping out on the chromecasts constantly.
If I disconnect one of the chromecasts the issues disappear.

Is your WiFi router signal able to cover all your rooms optimally?
Check your router settings to verify if the bandwidth is split between devices.
If your router has dual band WiFi, connect the Chromecast with Google TV to the 5 GHz WiFi bandwidth.
