I bought the Chromecast with Google TV (4k). Unfortunately, I noticed that there is an unsolved known issue with 4k LG monitors (mine is the 27UN83A) that has been reported in older posts (see: Chromecast with google tv an LG Monitor or Newly bought Chromecast shows blank black screen). Briefly, the signal of the Chromecast is lost after 1 or 2 seconds when manually switching inputs in the LG monitor (for example: HDMI->DisplayPort->HDMI). The only way to get the signal back is by going into the settings of the monitor and enabling/disabling the option "HDMI ULTRA Deep Color" (enabling or disabling this option will both get the signal of the Chromecast back). Switching inputs in the monitor does not affect the signal of other devices that I have connected to it (macbook pro, nintendo switch). Therefore, this tells us that the problem is indeed the CCwGTV(4k).
Some users claimed that the issue could be solved by connecting the CCwGTV(4k) to a HDMI switcher or a HDMI extender (see this response). However, in my case, such workaround did not solve the issue mentioned above (the HDMI extender that I purchased is this one: UGREEN Cable Alargador HDMI, 4K@60Hz Cable de Extensión HDMI Macho a Hembra Soporte 18Gbps, 3D, HDR,...).
Do you know any other solution? (please do not copy-paste answers from previous posts without testing if it works). To me, it seems this is something that could be fixed with a software update. But maybe there is not enough interest in fixing it because the most common usage is on TVs and not on monitors. Is that correct? If so, I am going to return the CCwGTV(4k) and buy an Amazon Fire TV stick 4k Max instead (which I haven't tried yet, but hopefully won't have this annoying issue).

Hey there mendi,
I apologize about the late response on this, thank you for being patient! Indeed, this is an issue I've noticed with LG Monitors in particular. Like you mentioned, users have found success when disabling the "HDMI ULTRA Deep Color" setting on the monitor. However, that, and the other workaround you mentioned with an HDMI Switcher, are the only workarounds I have found. If you wouldn't mind, would you be able to re-create the issue, then submit feedback via Google TV? That way, if there are any error logs generated, it would send them to the engineering team for them to investigate.
I look forward to your response, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know!
Best regards,
Jeran

It seems the issue has been solved after updating my LG monitor to the latest firmware version using OnScreen Control (LG's proprietary software) and the CCwGTV(4k) to Android 12. I am not sure which of the two actions solved the issue. Bought the Amazon Fire TV stick 4k Max too and did not have that issue in the first place. Now I am trying to decide which one to keep as they are quite similar devices. CCwGTV(4k) UI feels laggy/slow on Android 12 compared to the Firestick 4k Max (same apps installed on both devices). I wonder if any further updates are coming soon to the CCwGTV(4k) to fix the lag issue?

Hey there mendi,
I'm glad to hear that the LG and Chromecast issue has been resolved! With a big update just coming out for the Chromecast with Google TV, if there are any issues resulting from such an update, Google would look to resolve them in a timely manner. If you haven't already, I would submit feedback using the link I provided in the last post, so that the Google engineering team is aware of any UI issues.
I look forward to your response!
Best regards,
Jeran
