The new google tv allows you to use your Bluetooth pixel buds to listen to shows without disturbing others in the house. I have found however, that they were working at first with all shows no matter the app and now they only work in some apps. They are connected alright. I have tried deleting the profile and reconnecting them; that hasn't solved it. I have tried checking to see that google tv is up to date (software update) and it is. I have even tried making sure the app is up to date and it is. Has anyone run into this issue. Did you find a solution? What's the fix?

Hello @STC67,
Thanks for the post. I can imagine this situation could be pretty frustrating. I'm sorry this is happening, but let's see what we can do to fix it.
So when you say the app is up to date, which app are you referring to? Which Pixel Buds gen do you have?
When it comes to troubleshooting, I'd recommend trying to reset both your Pixel Buds and your CCwGTV.
Let me know how this goes. If you still need assistance, we'd be more than happy to look into further troubleshooting steps.
Thank you,
James

Yes, Jeran. I'd like to get this sorted. What should I do next? I even tried restoring my google tv with chromecast as new and that didn't fix it either and I really thought that it would. At this point, I just want google to know about the issue and works towards squashing the bug. What do you think would be the best way to communicate this to them?

Of course, let me just ask some more questions to see if we can isolate the issue:
I really appreciate your patience on this. If you like, you could also submit feedback via Google TV so that the Google TV development team would be able to have the logs on your Chromecast to see if they can hunt down the problem.
I look forward to your response, if you had any more questions or concerns, please let me know!
Best regards,
Jeran

No, I don't have anything more to add. I tried resetting Google TV, I. E. Wiping it clean and starting over and also did the same with my Google pixel buds. Still, the problem persists. Some apps on Google TV allow the Bluetooth connection and audio to come through the pixel buds and others do not although the Bluetooth volume control when buds are connected is still present on Google TV there is no audio just the picture. Clearly, this is a bug that developers need to fix. I guess I have done all I can do. Hopefully they will address it in a Google TV and associated apps update.

I'm really sorry that we weren't able to find a fix for this issue. If you already submitted feedback to us, the engineering team should already be aware of this issue, but I'll get it passed up as well to be safe. For now, I'll go ahead and lock up the thread.
Have a good one,
Jeran
