Problem with Google Home phone remote

I've got two CC 4K units. I need to use the phone remote function to copy/paste text, etc. See the screenshots below; the Basement CC phone remote works as it should. The FR Chromecast won't get me into the mode where I can type or copy/paste from my phone. I also see that remote does not have volume controls like the other one. Any ideas on how to fix this?

It resolved itself. I noticed there was no keyboard icon when I tried to enter text from the phone. I tried it just now and it was there and I can enter text, copy paste, etc. 🤦
