Problems with casting to Chromecast - blue icon

Hi guys,

I kept casting IPTV from my iPhone to Google Chromecast 1st generation without any problems for a long period of time, suddenly it has stopped working. When I attempt to cast from iPhone to Chromecast everything looks like normal for 1 second and then I get blue cast icon displayed and nothing happens. Any advice how to fix it?

Hi Bart76,

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. A few questions: is this happening only on one app or all apps? Is it still happening when casting from a different phone? What steps have you taken? Give the steps below a try and let me know how it goes:

• Reinstall the affected app.
• Perform a sequential reboot (Chromecast device, TV, router).
• Reboot the casting source (phone, tablet, etc.).
• Try a factory reset, then set it up from scratch.
