Puffin tv keyboard

I have recently got new chromecast hd with google tv. I have downloaded puffin tv app in there. Now whenever i try to use that tv browser i am not able to type anything. The keyboard opens up when i wanna type but i can select the alphabets in there, instead the mouse will move around when i try to choose alphabet. I cant search anything with that. How do i fix it?

Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community. A few questions: Did you install this app from the Playstore or a different source? Is this happening only on this app or on all/multiple apps? What steps have you taken?

Give the steps below a try and let me know how it goes:

• If the app came from the Playstore, delete it and then reinstall it.
• Reboot your Chromecast device.
• Try a factory reset, then re-setup.
• If it still persists on this app alone, contact the app developer.
