Hello,
Can I control my TV when I am away from home through my Home app and Chromecast?
I would like to simulate a présence at home by switching TV on an paying some music/movie while I am away on holidays.
Thanks

Hey there Ben131313,
I apologize for the late response, thank you for being patient! I'm sorry to say, but the device that is casting to or controlling the Chromecast would need to be on the same network as the Chromecast. So, at the moment, that functionality would not be possible.
I hope that answers your question, and if you have any other questions or concerns for me, please let me know.
Best regards,
Jeran

Thanks even if (not that) late!
It's a pity: I guess it could be implemented with current hardware.

Hey there Ben131313,
No problem at all! This is something I could see in the future with current hardware. If you would like, you could submit feedback via the Google Home app. Google takes all feedback seriously, and the more feedback they receive regarding a specific feature, the more likely they are to prioritize it.
I look forward to your response, and if you had any other questions, I'd be happy to help out.
Best regards,
Jeran
