Samsung TV doesn't detect Chromecast Google TV

My Samsung TV from 2018 doesn't seem to detect correctly the Google TV. When I connect it, it only displays a general HDMI port in the menu. When I click on that, the cec doesn't work: it first says it is scanning for devices, and I have to click on the Back button for it to get into the Google TV. Anyone with these issues?

Hi Nukles, I'm unclear about the meaning of not "detect correctly." What exactly are you wanting the TV to detect? Have you been able to set up the CCwGTV and watch shows and see images? If so, it's detected. Does your television have settings where CEC can be turned on and off for each port? Some do. Can you change the HDMI port that seems to work with other devices and place the CCwGTV there to see if that changes the result?

The CCwGTV is CEC compliant, is it possible that only one port on your TV is CEC compliant? Not all ports on a TV are necessarily equal.
