Video Apps on Chromecast with Google TV

Can any app be installed from the chrome store e.g. VLC player

Hi nuanua,

Not all apps on the Google Play store can be installed on a Chromecast with Google TV, only apps that developers make available for this device.

VLC for Android is available for my Chromecast with Google TV when using the app search on the device or from my mobile device and computer.
