I noticed in the last 5-7 days that the volume controls were no longer working on the Chromecast remote. I've had the same setup for 3 years now, no changes. I also have a third party remote connected with a dongle to Chromecast, the volume on both remotes stopped working, while the TV remote could control volume, and the third party remote if i connect it to TV.
Second issue that could be related: I also noticed that Dolby Atmos was no longer recognized for streaming services. Avatar 2 on Disney + was showing up as not having Atmos. I went to Chromecast - Settings - Audio - Surround settings and set them from auto to manual, and Avatar 2 now had Dolby Atmos. One day later, without doing any changes, I lost Dolby Atmos once more.
I've written on some Home Cinema forums and this issue seems to be quite common.
Is this a known issue, or is there a fix I could use?
