What’s the brand of your tv

Every-time I try to set this thing up, there’s some new bug this piece of crap has.

Im having trouble with the remote set up asking “what’s the brand of your tv” I don’t even get the list to choose from. Just “Unable to reach google services”

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear that you're having an issue setting up the buttons on your Chromecast Voice Remote. Let's sort this out.

 

Quick questions: what type of Chromecast with Google TV do you have, is it the 4K or HD? What's the LED status on your Chromecast? Please make sure your Chromecast is already set up. Rebooting and plugging it on a different HDMI port on your TV might also help. After that, check this support website article on how to set up the buttons on your Chromecast Voice Remote.
