YouTube kids on google tv showing ads with YouTube premium

Youtube kids shows ads to my kids on Chromecast with Google TV. I only have one account logged in and made sure it was the correct account. This doesnt happen on my android phone or my android or ios tablets. Its just on the Chromecast with Google TV. This is a paid service and should be fixed please.

I apologize for the late response, thank you for being patient! I'd be happy to look into this for you, let me just ask, do you still receive ads when casting from another device to the Chromecast, or is it only the Chromecast with Google TV app that is displaying the ads for you?

Its only the Chromecast with Google TV app that is displaying the ads when casting it does not have any ads. As an engineer my self, I always just try to reproduce the issue my end users report, can you please try and do the same.

I went ahead and talked with a higher tier of support regarding this issue, and it looks like it's currently a bug that Chromecast and YouTube are both looking into. If you don't mind, would you be able to re-create the issue to generate device logs, then submit feedback via Google TV? You can enter "CCT3 YouTube premium playing ads", and it will get sent to the appropriate team.

it's been a month since I opened the ticket and I am still getting ads even though I am paying, when will this be fixed and will I be compensated for the service? I just sent logs from my device .

I just wanted to add that I'm in the same situation and this just started happening for me as well.

Chromecast with Google TV, Youtube Kids app, Youtube Premium.

Having the same issue, chromecasting from YouTube kids on my phone has no ads, but using the YouTube kids app on the Google TV itself via the remote is showing ads, and there is no option to either activate or remove you to premium from it in its settings, but am logged into my whole account on the Google TV device
