I want to connect a chromecast to my village halls projector, which i know i can do, however the hall has no internet connection. I dont want to use mobile phone hotspots or tethering, can i configure an access point instead?

I'm sorry about the late response, thank you for your patience! Were you able to find the answer to your question? If not, I'd be happy to help! Now, when it comes to the Chromecast requirements, Chromecast does require an internet connection of at least 20 Mbps. On top of that, Mobile Hotspots are not a supported type of network for Chromecast. While some folks have managed to get it to work, it varies wildly from device to device.
