I've done everything that has been suggested from google and youtube from power cycling the router, disabling AP isolation, resetting my network settings on my phone, enabling local network settings, to factory resetting the new chromecast several times and I always get the "something went wrong. A tv may be set up but we could not communicate with it from your iphone" message. I've tried to connect on multiple devices (iphone, ipad, android phone). NOTHING WORKS. I've been at this for about 3 hours and just want to break this piece of junk. The only thing I'm able to do is set it up via the remote. HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm really sorry to hear that your Chromecast with Google TV is giving you such a headache! I know I'd be pretty upset if I was in your position, so I'd be happy to help out. In this case, since you've tried so many steps already, I'd like to have Chromecast Support get a hold of you. When you get the chance, would you fill out this form so that they can reach you?
