chromecast ultra non-standard power supply detected

I'm having major issues with a second hand Chromecast Ultra I brought from a second hand shop. 

When setting up the device I'm greeted with an ugly message saying " non standard power supply detected , 4k not available"

I brought it for the 4k and it doesn't work. Iv tried any cable any plug nothing works. 

Also YouTube keeps crashing

A 5 Volt DC, 1.5 amp power supply is required and included in the Chromecast with Google TV box. If you got this device second hand that is likely not the original power supply and Google doesn't sell them separately. 

A separate Ethernet power supply is sold separately on https://store.google.com.
