Thanks for posting—let's get this sorted out. Is this the first time you’re setting up your Chromecast device? Are you using private or shared Wi-Fi? Do you get a prompt or message when connecting it to the Wi-Fi? Factory reset your Chromecast device, and then try to do the setup again. Let us know how it goes.
