"Bitmovin' player" and chromecast 2

My Chromecast device has always worked fine and does great all the time with little problem.There is one website that I use that apparently uses something called "Bitmovin Player”as whenever I try to cast content from this one particular website (and ONLY THIS particular media website that I subscribe to) --I have a Mac mini computer that I am casting from--the Chromcast icon says connected to "Bitmovin Player" but the content never shows up on the TV at all. In fact, it starts to cast with little dots running across the screen and then pauses on both the computer and the TV and then stops the content on both screens. I have tried both starting the casting before hitting "play” button, and also after (as this has worked on other sites when I occasionally have had trouble...I have tried having the desktop/ internet casting before I even logged onto the site...etc. all combos I can think of. It is only just this one site. Is there a work around that anyone knows of? there must be some kind of blocker on there. I pay for the content on this site (its educational videos) and I can watch find on the computer, but Chrome seems to somehow be blocked by it...by their video player or something...not sure.

Websites on Chrome may use plug-ins such as Microsoft's Silverlight, Apple's Quicktime or VLC are not Chromecast supported, and may result in a lack of picture /or sound. Contact support for the specific website for further assistance
