Hi Team,

I bought Goolgle Chromecast with Goolgle TV just this mid June 2022, I started facing issues in remote, the buttons "Home" "Back" "Netflix" "Youtube" no longer working. Not sure what is the fix? Should i replace it? very weird  and at least the Power Mute Volume buttons working.

Thanks!

Assuming the batteries are good (maybe check them in another device), try these steps:

  1. Remove the batteries from the remote.
  2. Using your phone or other remote to navigate, go to Settings > Remotes & Accessories.
  3. Select your remote and choose to Forget it.
  4. Choose Pair remote accessory to start a new pairing.
  5. Hold the home button on the remote down and re-insert batteries while holding the button down.
  6. The remote should be detected on the right side of the screen. Use your alternate remote to select it to pair it.

In most cases, your remote will pair automatically after you insert the batteries. If it doesn’t, follow the steps on the TV screen, or press and hold the Back and Home buttons on the remote for 3 seconds.
