Ads experienced on Chromecast when premium member

Has been ongoing for sometime and I am feeling a little ripped off at this point.  I pay for youtube premium and experience the issue when I cast from YouTube Music to chromecast and not from YouTube.  Additionally it only happens when I cast via spoken voice to one of my google home devices asking it to "play x from youtube music on chromecast".  When I cast the same from home or computer by hitting the cast button the issue is not experienced.

This is not the experience that we wanted you to have, let me help you out. A few things: which Chromecast device? Which Nest speaker? Do you have other music service subscriptions? If so, did you try it to isolate the issue? What steps have you tried so far?

 

You can reboot your Nest speaker to refresh the device.

Hello Juni,

 

Just rebooted no change.

 

- Chromecast with Google TV 4k is the device showing the advertisements on YouTube and YouTube Music, I am a premium subscriber
- I use an alternate handle to use YouTube that is associated with the same Google Account
- Android TV OS 12, Security Patch July 1, 2022
- Kernel Version 4.9.269
- Only on YouTube and YouTube Music which I pay a premium for specifically to avoid advertisements
- Issue has been ongoing for a few months
- It used to only occur when casting via voice from a google home device, I have all models and outcome was the same on them all
- If I casted from phone or computer no ads would display in between videos or songs, now every 2-3 I see an ad or two
- I have tried to isolate the issue and it is clearly a software server side issue not recognizing premium accounts
- I have recently purchased this google tv chromecast to isolate the hardware side assuming it was my older chrome cast device
- Just upgraded to pixel 7 and outcome is the same on old pixel 4g 5a and now pixel 7, all voice commands instructing google to play "x"  on YouTube or YouTube music on "Family Room TV" (Name of my Google TV Chromecast device
- I have tried created a different WLAN via LTE wifi device from a third party and from My phone hotspot and no difference
- I dont possibly think there is anything else I can do to isolate the issue from a troubleshooting perspective aside from taking the device across the country to ping a different server
- After my testing and troubleshooting the issue is clearly out of my hands and needs to be resolved via server side code update.
- I am feeling a little ripped off at the moment
- I am open to any and all suggestions to resolve
