  • In my Philips Android tv when I was watching content, a control bar appeared eveytime on my notification list on my phone, now it's gone I can't figure out why. I can't control the play/pause from the Google home app but when trying to use the Google remote it says the following:Philips Smart TV is not showing up on this Wi-Fi network. Any help? I want the Google home bar to re appear when playing some content

Hi Kingkos,

Thanks for reaching out to the community! I understand you're missing the control bar on your phone's notification list when watching content on your Philips Android TV, and the dedicated Google Remote app are failing to connect, with the remote app reporting the TV isn't on the Wi-Fi network. I'm here to help!

To find the best solution, please check the following:

  • Ensure your TV and phone are connected to the same WiFi network.
  • Verify that your TV is linked to the same Google account used on the Google Home app.
  • Restart both your TV and the mobile device.
  • Clear cache and clear storage.
  • Make sure Chromecast built-in and Google Assistant are enabled.
  • Re-link TV to refresh.

After checking these steps, please try casting content again and confirm if the media controls now appear.

Please keep me posted.

Regards,
Juan
