Cannot remove canera

We have the ADT outdoor nest camera. I don't know how to take it off to charge it. Do I remove the entire camera including the square base? When you touch the camera, the whole thing moves a little on the wall--it's a stucco wall and someone else installed it.

It needs to be charged but I thought just the rounded camera is supposed to come out, not the entire square part.

What camera do you have? I'm not aware of any Google Nest cameras that have a square base.

The Google Nest Battery Camera (https://store.google.com/product/nest_cam_battery and https://help.adt.com/s/article/google-nest-cam-outdoor), which we have, is attached to a round base with a strong magnet. The magnet holds the camera pretty tight, but it can just be pulled off of the base because it is only held in place by the magnet, unless you are using the optional security loop.

Maybe ADT is using a different kind of base when they install the camera.

What I was calling a "base" is just the bottom part of the camera itself lol. I failed to notice the part behind it that the camera actually nests in. Anyway, I finally got it out, and felt the magnet behind it. I just had to twist it a little. Thank you for responding!! 👍🏻
