Change ownership due to death

My husband recently passed away and i need to transfer ownership and payment into my name. how do I do this?

Unfortunately, Google Nest does not provide us with any mechanism for transferring ownership.

Basically, you have to remove the Google Nest device from the Google Nest app or Google Home app, do a factory reset, and reinstall, though the details vary depending on the device.
