Chomecast not working again

Since yesterday, my Chromecast stopped working again. It tries to connect but stays in loading and doesn't. connect. Is anyone else having this issue?

Yes, mine has been having the same issue for the last day or two. This is the second time this year it's stopped working for seemingly no reason at all. Very frustrating.

Mine is working but glitching while streaming, desktop to tv. It starts fine and than it freezes. I repeat the procedure, start the Chrome casting again, it works, and han freezes again. For few weeks now. Frustrating!

Please provide the information requested below so we can determine the reason for this:

  • What is the model of your Chromecast devices?
  • What is the firmware version of your devices?
  • What device is used to complete the setup, and what's the OS version (iOS or Android)?
  • What is the TV brand and model?
  • What is the router brand and/or model?
  • What is your Internet Service Provider (ISP) and ISP speed?
  • How far are your Chromecast devices from the Wi-Fi router?
  • Are your Chromecast devices directly plugged into the HDMI port of the TV?
  • Do you own more than one Chromecast device? If yes, do these issues happen to other streaming devices?
  • How many devices are connected to the router?
