Chromcast Affected by Wind

It was a very windy night last night and my Chromcast lost connection to Wi-Fi at some point. My wifi is still working but Chromcast is giving me this message. I’ve tried factory reboot to no avail. Hopefully someone here can help me with this issue!

Thanks for reaching out and I'm sorry to hear about that. Let's check this further.

 

Quick questions: what type of Chromecast device do you have? What's the LED status on your Chromecast? 

 

Try these steps:

 

  1. Turn on the Local Access Network on your iOS device.
  2. Uninstall and reinstall the Google Home.
  3. Reboot your WiFi router, mobile phone, and Chromecast device.
  4. Connect to a mobile hotspot to isolate the issue.
  5. Perform another factory reset on your Chromecast.
