Chromecast Ambient Mode settings page not loading in Google Home app

Hi everyone,

I’m having an issue with my Chromecast. When I try to open the Ambient Mode settings page in the Google Home app, the page just won’t load. I’ve already tried closing and reopening the app, restarting my Chromecast, and even reinstalling Google Home, but the problem is still there.

Has anyone experienced the same issue? Is there a known fix or something else I can try?

• What's the version of the Google Home app? 
• Did you try using another phone to check the Ambient Mode setting in the Google Home app?
• When you attempt to check the Ambient Mode settings in the Google Home app, do you receive an error message?
