Hi new here so both my TV and Phone are connected to the same wifi but for some reason I can’t connect the two and the won’t show up on my google tv or Google home app I also don’t have any access to the router or modem been trying to fix this for about a month now

In addition to davidking’s inquiry, could you tell us what the exact message is that you are getting from the Google Home app during the setup process? Which Chromecast device are we working with? Also, is this the first time that you are setting up your Chromecast, or was it already set up?
