Connecting a Lenovo Smart Clock Essential

My Google Nest Mini is not “finding” two devices;  (1) the C smart plug (included in the Google nest package).  (2) a Lenovo Smart Clock Essential.

How do I get my Nest Mini to “find” these 2 devices?  Thanks!

Hey NewUserinMaine,

 

Thanks for reaching out. Make sure your devices are connected to the same network and within 15-20 feet of your router. 

 

For your C Smart Plug, give these steps a try:

 

  1. Turn the device off for 10 seconds then turn it back on.
  2. Make sure you have the latest version of the Google Home app.
  3. Reboot your speaker or display.
  4. Force close the Google Home app.
  5. Factory reset your speaker or display.
  6. If your plugs still don’t show up in either the Google Home app or the Cync (C by GE) app, try resetting them as well.

I am covering my lenovo smart clock essential with google home. After entering the Wi-Fi password it shows can't communicate with the device and comes back to set up window

Hey Jindalyogesh,

 

To be clear, are you setting up your Lenovo Smart clock using the Google Home app? Are you also setting up a Google Home speaker? If you're having problem connecting your Lenovo device to your network, try resetting it or contact Lenovo support for assistance.

I have the exact same issue.  My Lenovo clock will not connect.
