“Country Night” all night long!

The last command in my Good Night routine is “Play Sleep Sounds” and Country Night is selected. For a couple of years now my Google Home Mini would play the soothing sounds for an hour and then shut off. Recently the sounds started playing all night long and would still be playing when I get up in the morning. Any suggestions?  Thanks!

No suggestions unfortunately but I've been having this same issue starting August 27.

I use Thunderstorm, but the issue is the same. It used to play for a while and shut off while I slept (perhaps getting quieter over time), but now it's waking me up after 3-5 hours and I have to stop it with voice control.

I was still having this issue as recently as 2 weeks ago. I have since updated my routine action to say "play sleep sounds for 1 hour" and that works.

Does not fix the underlying issue because the selectable "play sleep sounds" action is still described saying the sound will stop automatically, but it is a successful workaround.

Hi Lpetri,

We've heard feedback that turning off sleep sounds after 1 hour was insufficient for some of our users, so we made the decision to remove the end time. We're currently investigating ways to build a comparable solution and appreciate your patience.

Best,

Princess
