Tryed to create a routine where a doorbell camera will start streaming to the Google home display when someone rings the doorbell. It seems that the routines abilities are very poor. Does someone has an idea how to accomplish that?

You get this automatically on all of your Nest Hubs if "Visitor announcements" is enabled on your doorbell, but the streaming does not last long if you do not respond on the Nest Hub.

Hey there,
Thanks for the help, MplsCustomer.
HomeUser, loving your interest! While visitors announcements is available to Nest Doorbell, we don't have information if another doorbell supports this feature. Also, streaming cameras to Nest display can only be triggered using voice commands. Check this guide for more information.
Best,
Alex

I can't speak to whether it's possible to enable streaming from a non-Nest doorbell.

The streaming is available, the question how to stream this on a trigger. Seems that googke routines are very limited in what they can do and react on.
