Devices Offline Problem

I've been researching this problem all through this community, and cannot find an answer that works for me. I am just trying out the Home app to see if it will work for me. So far, I'm not impressed. I have two Roku TVs in my house. Both are connected to the same wifi signal and channel. Both have Fast Power enabled. Both are linked to the Roku account. I have the Home app running on my Android phone. All equipment is up to date. I have linked my Roku account to my Home app. In the Home app, both TVs show as Offline. The phone is connected to the same wifi network and the same channel as the TVs. The Roku remote app works on the Android device. But, the Home app isn't working. I've reset the router. I've reset the TVs. I've cleared the Home Cache and Data. I've unlinked and relinked the Roku account. What am I missing? Is there a setting on my router? I have an Arris router, and IPv6 is enabled. Thanks in advance for the help.

I'm assuming your Roku remotes work fine.  When you're watching tv does google home show the tv as online?

In my Roku stick (not tv) there is a power savings setting that goes into a power saving mode after 20 minutes of inactivity.  When this happens, it disconnects from wifi so google home shows it as offline.

I appreciate your reply! The Roku remotes work fine, and I can use the android device to control the Roku TV. But, when the TV is on, the Home app on the Android device shows "Offline".

It's probably worth checking in your router to make sure the tv is connected.  Other than that, it sounds like a bug.

Sorry, that's all I can think of.

Yeah, the TV is definitely connected and streaming. Seems like a bug to me as well. I hope someone from Google can chime in and help.

Hi folks,

Thanks for the help here, ImNotANestUser.

ohpkuser, thanks for reaching out and letting us know about your Google Home app concern. You can try to create a new home and set up your devices there, then observe if it makes a difference. If possible, could you try to use another phone to isolate this?

I look forward to your response.

Regards,

Juni
