Hello everyone,
I’m exploring how Magis TV (downloadable via magistvgratis.com.mx) might fit into a connected home setup, especially alongside Nest devices.
Could Magis TV interface with Nest speakers or displays through casting or HDMI outputs?
Are there automation possibilities? For example, initiating the Magis TV app when a Nest Doorbell button is pressed or scheduling playback via routines.
Has anyone merged an external IPTV app like Magis TV with Nest smart devices before? How seamless was the process?
I'm eager to hear about your experiences or recommendations on integrating streaming apps like Magis TV into a Nest-centric ecosystem. Thanks!

Hello @Jessicas,
Thanks for posting on the community. Thank you for your interest in a fully integrated smart home setup. It's great that you are exploring how different streaming apps can work with your Nest devices.
Google's smart home ecosystem is designed to work with applications that are certified as "Works with Google Assistant" partners. This certification ensures that the apps are compatible and can be reliably and securely controlled with voice commands and automation's through Nest devices and the Google Home app.
As a Community specialist on Nest devices, I can only provide guidance for officially supported third-party services. I cannot provide specific support or instructions for applications that are not a part of our official partner program or are not available on the Google Play Store.
For a streaming app to interface with Nest devices for casting and automation, it must be developed with our official APIs and meet our security and performance standards. I recommend checking the Google Assistant partners page to see if an app is officially listed as a supported service.
I understand that you are looking for community experiences, and other members may have information to share about third-party apps and their compatibility. I encourage you to see if any other community members have advice on this topic.
Regards,
Kevin
