Hey Bomba_ro2001,

That certainly hasn't been easy for you — let's see what's going on.

Do you have Google Home/Google Nest speakers or display? Is it always happening when you're trying to play music on your device? Also, when did it start happening? Have you tried if there's a routine set up on your device? Could you try reinstalling your Google Home app? Rebooting your speaker, phone and router to refresh the connection.

Best,

Alex

Hey there,

How's it going with your device? Have you had the chance to try the suggested steps above?

Thanks,

Alex

Hello Alex,

I recently moved in a new house and indeed someone around me has a wifi devices. I don't understand how it is connected to it because I have never paired my phone with any device other than the ones I already use. This only happens when I'm at home. Is it possible for him to see in my phone because of this?

Hey Bomba_ro2001,

To make sure, do you have any Google Home/Google Nest devices or none at all? Are you connected to a public network? Also, where are you getting this message? If you're using your personal network, try changing your Wi-Fi password.

Regards,

Alex

Hi Bomba_ro2001,

If you're connected to the same network, usually you'll be getting this notification. Try connecting your phone to a different Wi-Fi network.

Thanks,

Alex

Hi there,

@Alex, thanks for the help.

@Bomba_ro2001, I know how it feels when something isn’t working as it should, let’s get this resolved. A few things: which Nest speaker? What is the make and model of the phone that you are using? Since you moved to a new place you can follow this helpful link. Let me know how it goes.

Thanks,

Juni
