So I would like to know exactly why Google makes false advertisements and claims? They clean that Smart devices like smart cameras and smart lights and switches some other brands can be integrated into the Google home app seamlessly and we're just as well with their service and app as the devices main app.
However this is a lie. Just look at all the community posts from Google home users complaining about how they're Arlo or Wyze cameras aren't able to be used in the Google home app and cannot be live streamed or used in any way really. I deal with the same problem myself. Got a Wyze camera Right now that I have integrated into the Google home app and it is useless in the Google home app. I'm not able to turn it on or off, adjust the settings, or live stream it. Why offer the ability to add to Google home if Google home isn't going to let you do anything with it? Because Google only cares about Google. They only care about their own devices and profits so selling their own products. Screw all the other companies and their devices. Like all corporations they are greedy and evil. Hope Wendy soon Google goes belly up.

When they say "Works with Google" it means in some way it does. With cameras you can view live footage on Google Nest Hubs or Chromecast. And you can receive verbal notifications on your speakers that motion has been detected.
I prefer to use the manufacturer's app anyway as the camera's SD recordings and cloud recordings are only viewable there.
I think if anyone lied to you it would have been Wyze for not telling you how well they're integrated with Google,.. or not.
Checking out YouTube reviews is always advisable before buying anything for your smart home.

You are missing the biggest point, its huge false advertising. Wyze cameras used to work years ago in the google app. They stopped working and Google has never fixed it. oh i can live stream on the display thats nice but everythings on your phone, but i can see the device in the google app. i can click on it, but it shows no video feed at all. Where is the logic in that? i cans show video feed on a google device running thru google appe, But i cant display the video on your phone in the google app that was created with google code

Maybe Wyze had to pay Google a fee for the privilege of having their cameras streamed through the Google Home app, but couldn't afford it in the end.
If it was free you would have every brand available there, but I know Reolink isn't.
Contact Wyze to see if it was supposed to be available.
Stopping support for a feature isn't false advertising unless they advertised it on their website after the support ceased.
