When I try to "Sign In with Google" to access my Nest Cams and thermostat it loops back to the sign in screen.
This problem can be recreated by:
1) Visit home.nest.com
2) Click "Sign In with Google"
3) Select my Google account to login in
As soon as I select my Google account I am kicked back to the login screen in step #1.
Running Windows 11. Firefox version 131.0 64-bit. I have cleared all history, cookies, restarted my PC, etc.
To my knowledge, nothing has changed on my end. I even, temporarily, turned off anti-virus and Malwarebytes and still had the same issue.
I can login, successfully, with Chrome but FireFox is my browser of choice.

I too am having issues logging into the Nest app and site via my Android device and Firefox on my desktop. I am forced to use Chrome (which I do not like) to login which I resent being forced to do ๐คจ.

I have exactly the same problem with my Macbook Pro... I don't want to uninstall and reinstall my FF... I have too much information to take care of in case of re-installation so it's not an option. I've deleted all cookies related to Nest. When I try to login from a "private" window - then login works and I may access my home in Nest. But when I try to do the same from my "public" window (with multiple tabs open in it) - the login cycles thru Google login and returns back to the same prompt, exactly as OP described it. So the problems is not hardware or OS related... it's something either FF or Google related.

I know this is an old thread, but just in case it helps someone else wandering in here, what finally fixed it for me was to disable "Enhanced Tracking Protection" for both home.nest.com and accounts.google.com. You can disable this via the shield icon to the left in the address bar. Note that it needs to happen on both URLs for it to work.
