Notify you where? Push notifications on your phone or in the Nest app/ Google Home app or Google speaker?

Push notifications might be a way to know when your camera detects motion and therefore records. The other day I made a YouTube on a handy feature for push notifications... verbal announcements on your phone...

In the device's settings there might be a restriction of the number or frequency of notifications you receive.

It seems to be set to 1 notification a day. How to I increase this??

If we're talking about your phone's notifications it says on my phone "About 1  notification per day" which means on average you receive one notification a day.

Check the app is updated, restart your phone, turn off the camera for a few minutes or reboot the camera.

I have been reading  more. My old camera   neo smart home notified me every time. This one is designed not to to save annoyance I think. It notifies me the first time it's triggered which is enough. Thanks for you help though

Hi PrimerAltoFrog,

Thanks for reaching out. I understand that you don't always receive notifications, and I'm happy to assist you!

I recommend checking if you have active notification features enabled on your Google Nest camera. I suggest visiting the Home app notifications settings. There, you can find information on active notifications, how they work, and choose the features that best suit your needs.

Let me know if this helps!

Regards,

Manuel
