The Chromecast has been working perfectly fine but it stopped allowing me to stream movies and series on both my iPhone and iPad. It works perfectly fine on someone else’s devices but not my own.
I’ve done everything I can from resetting the wifi, the Chromecast and uninstalling the apps but it never seems to work.

That certainly hasn't been easy for you ― let’s check this out.
Since it is working on someone else’s mobile device, this could be an isolated concern with your iPhone and iPad. Please make sure that your devices are connected on the same WiFi network as your Chromecast and ensure that its OS version is up-to-date. Turning off the cellular data when casting might also help.
