G'day.
I saw a post dated back in 2023 regarding Google Nest Doorbell miss identifying a small person shaped statue near the front door being a real person. The camera must have detected movement elsewhere and I am assuming its code zeroed in on the statue.
Is there a way to take a photo of the statue, and have the cameral ignore this "familiar face", or is there an alternative solution that does not involve moving the statue.
I though of creating an "event zone" and ignoring the statue, but dont know how smart the depth perception code of the camera is.
thank you

Google Nest has no ability to ignore or disregard "familiar faces". It merely reports the name of the "familiar face" in its alert.

Thank you M. I'll try the more simple and perhaps smarter approach. I'll move the statue 🙂
Thanks for responding.
