Google Home Mini Not working showing Green Light

Hi All,

 

I am having problems with my Google Home Mini. It's only showing one green light. Also, it's when powered, nothing happens. All of a sudden, it's stopped working. It only shows one green light when the reset button is pressed. I have checked some procedures to fix this, but nothing happened.

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration regarding my Google Home Mini device, specifically regarding a persistent green light problem that has significantly impacted my user experience. I kindly request your assistance in resolving this issue promptly.

I have noticed that the device consistently displays a green light, regardless of its intended functionality. This green light remains illuminated continuously without changing or responding to voice commands or touch inputs. As a result, the device fails to provide the expected feedback or perform any desired actions.

I have attempted various troubleshooting methods, including device resets and reconfiguration, as recommended by Google's support documentation, but unfortunately, none of these measures have resolved the green light problem. This issue persists, rendering the Google Home Mini unusable and severely limiting its functionality.

Furthermore, this green light issue has created confusion and frustration as I am unable to determine the device's status or whether it is processing my commands. This lack of visual feedback undermines the purpose and convenience of the Google Home Mini, making it difficult to rely on the device for its intended purposes.

As a loyal customer and advocate of Google products, I have always appreciated your brand's innovative features and reliable performance. However, this recurring green light problem with my Google Home Mini clearly indicates a product defect that should not be present in a device of this caliber.

I kindly request an immediate resolution to this matter. Whether it involves device replacement, repair, or any other necessary actions, I trust you will prioritize my concerns and promptly provide an effective solution.

Hi iftihajhossain,

 

I know how it feels when something isn’t working the way it should. Let’s further look into it. It looks like you’ve already tried a few troubleshooting steps. Try this workaround:

 

  1. At the side of the Google Home speaker, unplug the power cord > wait 10 seconds > plug the power cord back in > wait for 10 seconds > unplug the power cord again.
  2. Repeat the first step, 10 more times.
  3. On the last attempt, see if your Google Home Mini device will announce "Welcome to Google Home".
  4. Proceed with the set-up.

Good afternoon. I have this same problem now. I have had used my Google nest in the past. But now as i want to use it again , only a green dot appears and nothing changes. Ive tried the unplugging and inplugging . But nothing works. Its unresponsive.  It only displays a green dot. Please help
