Hello to everyone.
I have a Samsung S20 ultra device and using Google Home for all of my routines- automations. Most of my smart devices are from Xiaomi (24 devices including yeelights and vacuum). The Mi Home is set to Greece region, I had connected my Xiaomi account to Google Home and all the devices were normally available in Google Home app, taking voice commands through my Google assistant speakers. I recently added 2 new devices to Mi Home. A yeelight bulb and a Xiaomi Smart Home Hub 2 along with a Xiaomi temperature and humidity sensor 2. Unfortunately the new devices aren't shown in Google Home, even though I have tried to clear cache and remove both apps, link/unlink the Mi Home account multiple times and resetting the new devices, which are normally working through Mi Home. When I link again the Mi Home account in Google Home I get all the devices I used to have, apart from the 2 new devices (yeelight bulb and sensor). If I connect the yeelight app instead of Mi Home, the new bulb is added. However this isn't exactly convenient with my current configuration and doesn't solve the sensor issue either. I would also prefer to avoid using many apps and for that reason I didn't try to follow the work around I read online about connecting the sensor to Google Home through smart things. Could I please have your support or possible directions?
Thank you in advance for your time.

Hi nzor,
Thanks for posting and for being a step ahead of us.
Since the Yeelight bulb is working through their local app, there might be a workaround for your sensor using the Smartthings app. Have you had the chance to contact Mi Home support about these devices that you are not able to link through their app? Do Yeelight and your sensor get a good Wi-Fi signal too? We also want to know the Google Home app version installed on your phone and if you've already tried using another phone to isolate the issue.
Regards,
Juni

Hello dear Dan and Juni. Thank you for your kind response. Regarding the workaround through the Smartthings app I will evaluate it however as I mentioned in my original message, I would prefer to connect Mi Home directly to Google Home for maintenance reasons. I have also contacted Mi Home support about this devices waiting for their response. Both the Yeelight bulb and sensor have strong signal and the Google Home app version installed on my phone is 2.65.1.6. Unfortunately I haven't tried using another phone. In any case I am experimenting with home assistant right now and I noticed that everything works normally when I connect HAS to Google home so most probably I will end up with such an alternative and if there is no one else with similar issue, we can close the incident. Thank you for your time and have a great rest of your week.
Best regards,
Nikolas
