Google Home cannot relink with Honeywell Thermostat

Hello, I've been trying since yesterday to re-link my home application to Honeywell and am constantly getting a message that says "Could not reach Honeywell Total Control Comfort US". This is across all of my my devices. The Honeywell app works fine on its own though. Help please?

Hi @PZL 

I am not familiar with Honeywell but is your device compatible with Honeywell Home? Maybe worth a shot.

If this is not the the case you could try creating a new Home within Google Home to check if that solves the issue. 😉

Hi @RXShorty,

Its a Honeywell smart thermostat and it's worked fine in the past.  I've already provided feedback via the Google Home app and I've reported this issue to Honeywell as well.

I have the same issue.  Worked in Google Home for ten years. Now nothing. I have to use the Honeywell app now.

I have the same issue for the last 2 days. I've had my Honeywell thermostat for over a year now, but two days ago it lost connection to Google home. I can connect to the thermostat using the app or the PC but Google home assistant will not connect.

I am also having this issue. Seems it started a few weeks ago. Disconnected completely. Unsubscribed on Honeywell site. Tried to reconnect. Gets no where.

My apologies for the delayed response. I know how important it is to be able to connect your Honeywell Thermostat to the Google Home app. To confirm, is there a message when you link your Honeywell account? What is the make and model of your phone or tablet?

 

Please try using a different phone or tablet to link your Honeywell account to the Google Home app. Let's see if you have the same issue.

I was able to reconnect a couple says after the post, however I lost connection to Honeywell again.
