All my lights except one are Philips Hue, using the Hue hub. Curtains, temperature sensors, light sensors, etc are Tuya Zigbee. Voice control and integration of Hue and Tuya is provided by Google Nest speakers, Hub V2 and Hub Max. Until about a week ago Google Home could read the status of Hue motion sensors, lamps and Hue smart plugs, so I could use them as a trigger and then make Google Home start some device in the Tuya part of my home automation. This has been working well for more than a year. Until now.
Now Google does not see changes of the Hue Motion Sensors, lamps, or smart plugs anymore and thus some Google routines are not triggered anymore.
I can still control all Hue lights and smart plugs, both from Google and the Hue app. And now the strangest thing: when I am IN the Google Home app, looking at all the devices known to Google in my home, the status from all Hue devices CAN be read by Google and all routines triggered by Hue devices work fine.
Exit the Google app and those routines stop working (but the Google voice control for the Hue devices still works fine).
Last week the Google app was updated, as was the Hue app and the firmware of my phone (Samsung S22), all on the same day. I have restarted all Google products and my network equipment, but the problem is still there.
Anybody any idea what could be wrong, or anybody having the same problem?
