Google Nest Alert Tone

Has the Google team found a way to allow us to change the alert tone on our iphones with the Google nest cameras so that if someone breaks in and tries to kill us we will actually get woke up or is the product still useless for home security? I’ve stuck with it a few months thinking surely to the lord upstairs the smart folks at google would figure this out by now or have it on an enhancement road map. Thanks! I’d like to know my $1000 investment is actually going to help prevent me from being robbed and murdered. If not time to sell on eBay and move to Ring.
