My Google Nest Learning Thermostat keeps going into Eco mode when I'm home. I only want that to happen when I'm away, not when I'm downstairs, or asleep. There seems to be a setting where the thermostat can detect whether or not your phone is at home, but it apparently comes with an unchangeable setting that sends notifications to my phone when I leave or arrive home. I generally know whether or not I'm at home, so I don't need messages sent to my phone all the time. Is there any way to accomplish what I desire?

Hi @Sather404,
Thank you for posting in this community! I understand that your Nest Learning Thermostat switches to Eco mode when you're at home, but you only want it to work when you're not at home. Because of this, you'd like to stop receiving these notifications when you're at home. Don't worry, I'm here to help!
Based on what you're experiencing, the closest solution is to turn off the notifications when you're at home, either from the Nest app or the Google Home app, depending on which one you use. Then, you can turn them back on when you leave the house. We understand you don't need them, so I'd like to attach this feedback form where you can share your ideas. This will help us improve our services and enhance the user experience.
