Google Nest as assistant and speaker - not as wifi-unit

Hello.

I've recently given up on the Google Nest as a wifi mesh - keeps loosing connection and is just a pain in the B to get to work together.

However, I want to use them as just the speaker and google assistant, but without being a mesh/wifi unit. 

What is the easiest way to come about this? Can I do it with the excisting setup or do I have to factory reset the entire bunch and add them in some way?

I hope this is the correct forum to ask for this kind of advice 😄

This is not the experience that we wanted you to have, let me help you out. I understand that it is a good feature to use with your Nest Wi-Fi but this is not available at the moment. Could you tell us more about the issue that you are experiencing? Do you have a modem and router combo? What’s the color of the light on the parent point? Does the device LED switch from orange to teal (or white) continuously?
