I’ve tried everything to my knowledge now looking for help from the community. I bought 2 Google TVs not chromecast a TCL TV running Google tv natively. I set it up with my Google home app and works perfectly I can lower the volume use the control (stopped working since iPhone 15.6.1 update) but it’s in my account. The problem accrues when I tell Google to display front door camera (backyard camera, kitchen camera, front of house camera all nest.) which is my Nest Doorbell. It begins a loading graphic and Google responds with “ ok showing front door camera” and then just displays a gray screen with lettering camera is not connected to network. Yet Google said it is and I can view it on my nest hub. Is Google bringing out a update to this? On there Advertising it shows that it is possible to this on my Google tv yet it’s not possible when I try it. Please help.
Sorry for the late response. Thanks for posting here in the Google Nest Community.
I know how it feels when something isn’t working as it should, let’s get this resolved. A few things: What steps have you tried so far? What is the distance between your TV and your WiFI router? If you are able to stream your camera using your Nest display there is a possibility that your TV is not getting enough WiFi signal.
Try to reset your TV and relink it again and see if it will make a difference. If possible try to add a WiFi repeater to get a stronger WiFi signal.
Let me know how it goes.
